Our Care Team exemplifies the spirit of compassion and support within our community. Dedicated to spreading kindness, they coordinate visitations, organize meal trains for those in need, send heartfelt cards, and provide various forms of assistance to uplift and comfort individuals and families during challenging times. Through their thoughtful actions and unwavering commitment, the Care Team embodies the values of empathy and solidarity that define our church family.
What does the Care Team do?
- Visitations: They visit members who are hospitalized, homebound, or going through difficult situations to provide companionship and support.
- Meal Trains: They organize schedules for delivering meals to individuals or families who are experiencing illness, recovery from surgery, or other life challenges.
- Sending Cards and Notes: They send cards, notes, or letters of encouragement, sympathy, or congratulations to celebrate milestones and support during difficult times.
- Prayer Support: They offer prayers for those in need and provide a listening ear for anyone who wants to share their concerns or joys.
- Transportation Assistance: They may arrange transportation for those who are unable to drive due to illness, age, or other reasons.
- Emergency Assistance: They provide immediate support in times of crisis, whether it's emotional or practical.
- Community Outreach: They extend their services to the wider community through partnerships with local organizations or by participating in community service projects.
