Our Mission: Loving God, Loving Each Other
Loving God
"Loving God" reflects our deep devotion to the divine, a profound connection that anchors our faith and guides our actions. It's an acknowledgment of God's unconditional love for us and our reciprocal love in return. This love fuels our spiritual journey, inspires our worship, and shapes our character as we strive to live in alignment with God's will.
Loving Each Other
"Loving Each Other" encapsulates our commitment to community and fellowship within our faith family and beyond. It's about extending the same love, grace, and compassion to others that we receive from God. In our relationships with one another, we seek to embody the principles of kindness, empathy, and mutual support. We recognize that each individual is a beloved creation of God, deserving of respect, acceptance, and care.

Our Story

How it all started...
Founded in 1972 by Founding Pastors Ken and Lillian Pritchard, along with 11 dedicated believers. From humble beginnings as a small group in search of a permanent home, our community has flourished into a vibrant congregation spanning over 27 acres east of the Cape Fear River.
Over the past five decades, Fayetteville Community Church has been a beacon of hope and inspiration, touching lives throughout Eastern North Carolina and beyond. Join us as we celebrate our journey of faith and service, impacting communities locally and around the world.

Expanding the vision...
As we cast our vision forward, we're always mindful of our journey and the grace that's brought us to this point. Our commitment is clear: we aim to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where all believers can worship freely, while also encouraging them to deepen their spiritual walk with God.
We're dedicated to the continual improvement of our facilities, balancing the creation of modern spaces with the careful restoration of our existing buildings. It's about honoring our past while embracing the future, ensuring that every corner of our church reflects our values of inclusivity and growth.

Where we are headed...
Guided by the leadership of Senior Pastors Wesley and Teresa Pritchard, we're committed to leveraging every available technological tool to empower and challenge all believers in their journey with Christ. With a forward-looking perspective, we're determined to propel our faith into the future, trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the work that God has initiated within each of us.
