Our Mission
Loving God, Loving Each Other
Loving God
"Loving God" reflects our deep devotion to the divine, a profound connection that anchors our faith and guides our actions. It's an acknowledgment of God's unconditional love for us and our reciprocal love in return. This love fuels our spiritual journey, inspires our worship, and shapes our character as we strive to live in alignment with God's will.
Loving Each Other
"Loving Each Other" encapsulates our commitment to community and fellowship within our faith family and beyond. It's about extending the same love, grace, and compassion to others that we receive from God. In our relationships with one another, we seek to embody the principles of kindness, empathy, and mutual support. We recognize that each individual is a beloved creation of God, deserving of respect, acceptance, and care.
What We Believe
Welcome to Fayetteville Community Church! We're delighted to share with you the core beliefs that guide us, rooted in the timeless truths of the Bible. These foundational doctrines are the bedrock of all our teachings and ministries. We extend a warm invitation to explore and engage with us as we journey together in faith. Welcome to our community!
God
God is the create or and ruler of the universe. He has internally existed in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are God.
Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:1; Matthew 28:19; 1; Corinthians 13:13
Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:1; Matthew 28:19; 1; Corinthians 13:13
Man
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates man from God.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1,2
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1,2
Eternity
Man was created to exist forever. Through forgiveness of sin and salvation. He will be in union with God and have eternal life. By sin, He will be eternal separated from God.
John 3:16; John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15;1 John 5:11-12; Matthew 25:31-46
John 3:16; John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15;1 John 5:11-12; Matthew 25:31-46
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Our Story
How it all started...
Founded in 1972 by Founding Pastors Ken and Lillian Pritchard, along with 11 dedicated believers. From humble beginnings as a small group in search of a permanent home, our community has flourished into a vibrant congregation spanning over 27 acres east of the Cape Fear River.
Over the past five decades, Fayetteville Community Church has been a beacon of hope and inspiration, touching lives throughout Eastern North Carolina and beyond. Join us as we celebrate our journey of faith and service, impacting communities locally and around the world.

Expanding the vision...
As we cast our vision forward, we're always mindful of our journey and the grace that's brought us to this point. Our commitment is clear: we aim to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where all believers can worship freely, while also encouraging them to deepen their spiritual walk with God.
We're dedicated to the continual improvement of our facilities, balancing the creation of modern spaces with the careful restoration of our existing buildings. It's about honoring our past while embracing the future, ensuring that every corner of our church reflects our values of inclusivity and growth.

Guided by the leadership of Senior Pastors Wesley and Teresa Pritchard, we're committed to leveraging every available technological tool to empower and challenge all believers in their journey with Christ. With a forward-looking perspective, we're determined to propel our faith into the future, trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the work that God has initiated within each of us.
